My career reads like an overlapping Gantt chart, which is fitting, because I spent a good part of it building those charts. I enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2002 and took the uniform off for the last time in 2026 — twenty-four and a half years, enlisted soldier to field-grade officer. Along the way, and often at the same time, I ran project controls on $50M–$250M capital programs at Eastman Chemical, directed operations for a workforce development institute in Buffalo, and built on the schedule discipline that a B.S. in Construction Management from LSU drills into you: scope, cost, critical path, no surprises.

My officer years were in the Chaplain Corps — which is a leadership education you cannot buy. I advised commanders at a 26-country special operations theater, at brigade and division formations, and at West Point with the Corps of Cadets. The chaplain sees the organization from underneath the org chart, inside the people who make it run. Most of what breaks inside an organization breaks inside a person first, quietly — and I spent two decades watching that up close. It's why I hold both a Master of Divinity and a near-finished Doctor of Strategic Leadership: the people and the plan are the same problem.

The last few years added a third discipline: building with AI. Not slideware — working applications. During my Disney Military Fellowship with Walt Disney World Distribution Services I designed and built TIMON, a mobile-first workforce training platform, from a blank page to an executive rollout plan. I run a self-hosted multi-agent AI lab where I pressure-test what agentic systems can reliably do, and I ship tools like the Construction Scheduler Field Guide on this site. The pattern in all of it: leading teams through change, keeping complex work on schedule, and knowing when AI genuinely moves the needle.

I live in Clermont, Florida. This site is intentionally small and honest — a home base for the work, the writing, and anyone who wants to find me. If something here is useful to you, that's enough.
